donny-benet-infinite-desires-vinyl-lp-record
Donny Benét - Infinite Desires - (Vinyl LP)

Infinite Desires is the sixth studio album by Australian post disco musician Donny Benét, released in March 2024 via Donnyland Records.

He’s older now, more thoughtful and wise. He’s travelled the world and he’s seen some things. Time passes, and he matures like the finer things in life: behold the timeless, elegant, sophisticated man that is Donny Benet.

More than a decade since the world first fell for his charms, Donny Benet is taking charge of his destiny like never before.

His new album, number six, is called Infinite Desires, and it’s his most complete musical statement yet.

Across eight tracks, Donny sets out a vision that embraces a diversity of experience, from elation to introspection, from disquiet to unbridled ecstasy. Take the brash slapped bass of the opening track, Multiply; or American Dream, his meditation on warped dreams and distractions; or the self-empowerment at the heart of So Long, an ode to stepping away from toxic relationships; or Wait Until it Rains Tomorrow, a moving, cathartic tale of acceptance folded within Donny’s trademark sound, a smooth wave of harmonies and rhythm that makes you feel like everything is going to be ok.

“The last few years of touring have been the thing that dreams are made of. The unexpected international reach of The Don and a chance invitation to Europe gave me my sink or swim moment in my musical career. I feel that I've undergone personal and musical growth during the processes of Infinite Desires and it feels to be my most complete offering to date. I'm incredibly proud of this album and I hope it brings you the joy that I feel in presenting it to YOU!”

Track list:

A1 Multiply
A2 American Dream
A3 Forbidden Love
A4 Hold On Tonight

B1 So Long
B2 Consensual Loving
B3 Go Now
B4 Wait Until It Rains Tomorrow

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/1092/9582/9331/files/donny-benet-infinite-desires-vinyl-lp-record-347744.jpg?v=1790220732
